camp cactus summer sale is next weekend!

It's that time of year when the farmer's market is bursting with fresh produce and colorful berries,  everybody's curbside planter boxes are planted, and all the artists in the neighborhood have been busy creating new and wonderful things to showcase at the Camp Cactus Summer Sale. Stay tuned for a list of artists and a sneak peek at the work they'll be offering next weekend!

the buckman art show and sell

I'm excited to again be one of 130 artists showing and selling our work at the 22nd Annual Buckman Art Show this year.  Buckman Arts Magnet Elementary is an arts-focused public school here in Portland
with a wonderful arts curriculum and fantastic and dedicated teachers and parents.
The show helps raise money to support the Buckman PTA, which in turn supports the arts program at the school.
I'll be showing and selling lots of new, one of a kind Fairy Fashions
(which will be available in the Fairy Atelier shop until the day before the sale)

Yay!

 Gretchen Boylan is back with us again, with gorgeous new work.

She combines antique papers, silk ribbons, beads, old jewelry and sterling silver

to create miniature works of art.

They're tiny environments that seem to be

 of another time and place altogether.

Check them out this weekend, but come early, because they disappear quickly!
